The GRS Dept. offers BA (H), MA, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Spanish. Students of the GRS department are selected every year for scholarships to study or do research in Spain, Mexico, and other Spanish-speaking countries. Along with languages , cultural knowledge is also provided to the students. 

Spanish Degree Courses at JNU (CSPILAS)

The Centre of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Latin American Studies  also known as CSPILAS offers BA, MA, M.Phil, and a Ph.D. in Spanish language 

All programs offer a multidisciplinary curriculum specializing in literature, language, and culture of Spain and Latin America as well as translation studies.

Entrance exam for language courses in JNU is held every year in May.

Jawaharlal Nehru Academy of Languages

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Jawaharlal Nehru Academy of Languages is another renowned foreign language institute in Delhi. Their 3-year course is divided into six semesters of 5 month each.

Students are awarded with certificates, diplomas, and advanced diplomas as well after passing the examination after the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters

Jamia Millia Islamia (CELAS)

The Centre for European and Latin American Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, also known as CELAS promotes research and teaching about Central and South America, Spain, and other Hispanic nations. It offers a one-year part-time certificate, diploma and advanced diploma program in Spanish language.
