Let's learn how to use "ㄹ" Irregular conjugation with some examples.

"ㄹ" CONJUGATION RULE:

According to this rule,

1.  When Korean verb and adjective stems that end with 'ㄹ', ㄹ get omitted when they get conjugated with an ending that start with ㅂ, ㅅ or ㄴ.
2.  When Korean verb and adjective stems  that end with 'ㄹ' get conjugated with an ending that start with -(으) , even though ㄹ is in patchim there but it get treated as the last vowel and -으 get omitted.
3. When Korean verb and adjective stems  that end with 'ㄹ' get conjugated with endings like  (으)ㄹ래요?, -(으)ㄹ 게요,  and -(으)ㄹ 때,  -(으) ㄹ is omitted, and the stem attaches directly to the ending.

EXAMPLES :

• 팔다- 파세요/팝니다/파는/팔러/팔 때.
• 살다- 사세요/삽니다/사는/살러/살 때.
• 알다- 아세요/압니다/아는.
• 달다- 다세요/답니다/단.
• 놀다- 노세요/놉니다/노는/놀 때.
• 만들다- 만드세요/만듭니다/만드는/만들 때.
