TOPIK TEST YEAR 2026 SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED Annyeonghaseyo, Korean language learners!

Exciting news is here for all of you preparing to take the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). The official 2026 TOPIK test dates have been announced! For those new to the journey, the TOPIK is an essential exam that proves your Korean language skills to universities and companies in Korea and around the world. Passing it can open up incredible opportunities, whether you’re planning to study abroad, work in a Korean-speaking environment, or simply want to achieve a major milestone in your language learning.

Please Note:

These dates are for the standard paper-based test (PBT) in Korea. The application periods for overseas locations, including India, will be different. Usually they are much earlier than these dates. We will post the official India-specific schedule as soon as it’s released!

Additionally, we’ve heard exciting news that the Internet-Based TOPIK (IBT) format may be introduced in India in 2026. This would be a great new option for test-takers and we’ll keep you updated on all the latest developments.

Dr. Satish is the founder of LKI School of Korean Language. He got his Masters degree in Korean Language Education from Seoul National University, South Korea under GKS scholarship. He did his M.Phil. and PhD in Korean Language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He also taught at Centre for Korean Studies, JNU for 2 years. He has a passion for education and technology.
