Have you learned the basics of Korean language but feel like your progress is stuck after a point?
Highly motivated learners like you are able to learn the Korean script Hangeul and beginner level grammar through self-study. They watch lessons on YouTube, download some books, joins some Korean learning groups and that's more than enough for them to learn the basics and speak and understand basic phrases and sentences. But the main challenge comes after that. Most learners feel like they are stuck and are not able to improve their Korean language skills after a certain point, no matter how hard they try. Whether they want to apply for a scholarship in Korea or they want to get a job in Korean language field, they require at least TOPIK level 3 but even the most successful learners find it difficult to go beyond TOPIK level 2 grammar and vocabulary through self-study.
We totally understand your situation
Learning Korean Online through self-study is definitely possible but there are limitations. If you are learning Korean just for fun, YouTube lessons and Online Korean sites should be more than sufficient for you. But if you are planning to go to Korea for higher study or for work or even if you are planning to make a career in Korean language field in India or Korea, it's not easy to reach that level through just self-study. Below are the reasons why -
- You don't have anyone to check if you are speaking or writing correctly in Korean.
- You can search new words and phrases online but it's very likely that you will use them in incorrect way, if there is no one to teach you proper context-based use.
- You don't have material suited to your level to do listening and reading practice.
- You can read and write but you don't know how to practice speaking. You wish there was an opportunity to talk with other learners or a native person in Korean and if someone was there to correct you when you made mistakes.
- Beyond learning Korean, you wish someone could guide you about professional certification in Korean (TOPIK) as well as scholarships and work opportunities in Korea. You don't really know how to proceed if you want to study or work in Korea.

This course is suitable for you if -
- If you can already read and write Hangeul, know very basic vocabulary and can make sentences using basic grammar (verb endings like present, past and future tenses, basic connectors like 고, 지만, and basic particles like 은/는, 이/가, 에/에서, 하고 etc.). About The Course Designer & Mentor - Dr. Satish Satyarthi
This course has been designed by Dr. Satish Satyarthi. He needs no introduction in the field of Korean language field in India. He is the founder of popular Korean language websites TOPIKGUIDE.COM and LKI. He has Bachelors, Masters, MPhil and PhD degrees, all in Korean language and linguistics. As a KGSP scholar at Seoul National University, his research area was 'Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language'. He taught for 2 years at Center for Korean Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Currently he lives in Seoul, Korea and is involved in projects related to Korean language research and education. He has trained hundreds of students in Korean language from across the world.
A Course Focused on Practical Communication
In this course, we will focus on practical communication, i.e. speaking and listening, and will learn grammar and vocabulary in the process. The course will have a lot of practical communication activities and the aim would be to make the learners fluent and confident in communicating in Korean.

The classes will be conducted through video call using Zoom or Google Meet. You will also receive the recording of every class so that you can watch it again if you need to. You will receive complete instructions about how to connect to class beforehand.
Yes, all the students who complete the course will receive certificate of completion. The course also includes preparation for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) passing which will give you an official proficiency certificate from Korean government.
Yes, you can. Every year, many of our students are selected for GKS and other scholarships and many of our past students are working with reputed Korean companies and MNCs.
We provide all the study material and worksheets required during the course in digital form (PDFs and audio files). You can print the books yourself or use the PDF on your phone/computer. You will also be provided any additional books or material required for practice. You don't have to pay any extra charges for any study material.
The recordings of all the classes will be available, so you can watch it. If you still need help with anything, you can ask the instructor in the study group or during the next class.
You will be added to a group of your batch as well as to a main group of LKI where all the past and current students of LKI are there. If you have any questions or doubts during your study, or even after completing the course, you can freely ask them in these groups and LKI instructors will be happy to help you.

Terms & Conditions:
- A minimum of 50% attendance and assignment submissions are required to be eligible to take final test and get certificates.
- The certificates are typically issued within 30 days after course completion but if required urgently, please contact us.
- For any official queries, only email communication from [email protected] is considered official; not WhatsApp, call or social media.
- LKI reserves the right to cancel any batch or change class days and timings. Though in such cases we will offer refund to the students who con't continue the course with changed timing.
- Minimum 15 students are required to start a new batch. In case of lower enrollments, the batch start date can be extended by a few days.
- LKI reserves the right to cancel classes on certain days in case of unforeseen circumstances, though in such situation, we will provide supplementary classes.
- Admission cancellation/refund requests should be made latest till 48 hours before the class start date. After that no such request will be accepted. Example: If a course is starting from December 5, you can cancel your registration and ask for refund till December 3 and not after that.
- However you can request to be shifted to a different level within 7 days from the course start date. No batch change requests will be accepted after 4 classes are over.
