You have mastered Korean language script Hangeul, its sounds and the syllable structure of Korean. Now you can read almost any Korean text with perfect accuracy. Before moving to Korean grammar and other advanced stuff let’s practice what we have learnt till now.

The following words are commonly used for the name of places, brand, restaurants, foods and alike. You should know what most of these words mean if you sound them out correctly. The Koreanized version of sounds of the following noun is mostly borrowed from the English language and hence it differs from its original English pronunciation. The written form as well as the oral form are almost fixed and should be used accordingly. If it doesn’t make sense at first, try saying it a little faster.  Don’t forget to check the correct English counterparts of the words provide separately. Have fun!
